1D and 2D: what each mode includes

One plan covers both modes, e.g. Hobby’s 30 calculations a month count for bars and panels alike.

1D cutting

Nested miter cuts PRO (included in your plan)
Free angles per end, cut direction and a live preview. The bevels nest into each other, and the layout shows how much material the nesting saved.
Saw stop positions
A cumulative axis under every bar: on screen, in the text layout, in print and in Excel. Trim at start and end in “Advanced”.
Remnant warehouse PRO (included in your plan)
After cutting, tick the usable offcuts and press “Cut plan executed”. The next job uses them as stock.

Guillotine cuts and cut order
Every cut runs edge to edge, just as a panel saw cuts. For every board: a numbered list with direction, position in mm and cut length.
Grain, edge banding and job price
Tick “grain” and the part is not rotated. Job price for boards, edge banding, cutting and VAT from Hobby; edge banding per edge and material/decor per part in Pro.
CNC mode and DXF PRO (included in your plan)
D + a clearance for the cutter, an edge margin and free layouts; a DXF per board for CAM, and DXF and SVG for the panel saw too.
To be honest: with rectangular parts the board count is usually the same as on a panel saw. The gain is the correct clearance and a DXF for the machine.
